Lunch Blog Files - The Steak Sandwich

Best part of my work shift has to be the lunch break... I go out to lunch most days.  It's kind of spendy, but it's convenient and tasty.  The rare times that I fix my own lunch to bring in are often that much more magical.  Today is one of those days.  Let me introduce to you how to have lunch like a man...

Phil's Steak Sandwich
The ingredients aren't the cheapest in the world, but if you want to go cheap... you can go back to college.
Ingredients:
-1 Dave's Killer Bread Good Seed Peace Bomb Baguette
-1 USDA Prime top sirloin steak ($6.99/lb at Costco)
-clump of mushrooms
-some green onion
-half a small yellow onion
-orange bell pepper (or whatever you want)
-2-3 slices of jack cheese
-salt
-pepper
-ginger powder
-butt load of olive oil

Instructions:
1. Season the steak with some salt, pepper, and ginger powder on each side.. make sure to press it in a little bit
2. broil the steak until it is warm/hot (broil to your liking... I prefer Medium to Medium-rare)
3. Sautee the mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, and green pepper together with some oil (butter makes it pretty awesome if you want to use that)
4. While you're at it, cut the baguette in half and warm it up while melting the cheese onto each half
5. Layer it all together, kick back and enjoy lunch!

Like a Boss!
